Student Activity: Control Slide Object Timing

1. Ensure that you are still on slide 1 of the TimeMe project.

2. Use the Timeline to extend the display time for a Text Caption.

 on the Timeline, select the object “Watch as the File menu is”

This object represents the Watch as the File menu is selected Text Caption

on the slide.

 on the Timeline, drag the right edge of the “Watch as the File menu is

selected” object right until the object is stretched to 00:04 seconds

3. Use the Timeline to change when the mouse appears on the slide.

 still working on slide 1, select the Mouse object on the Timeline

This object represents the mouse pointer on the slide.

 drag the middle of the Mouse object right until its left edge lines up with

00:04 on the Timeline

4. Save your work.
